Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Backups, audit records, fraud-prevention information, and legally required records may remain for a limited period after deletion.
Account deletion
To delete your account, email support@homeschoolgather.com from the address associated with your account and request account deletion. Deletion requires confirmation and, where possible, recent authentication. We will remove or anonymize personal profile information where appropriate, and we may preserve records that must remain for security, audit, legal, event-integrity, or moderation reasons. If you organize a group, we will coordinate with you on group ownership before closing your account so that no group is orphaned. We do not currently offer a public data-export feature.
Your privacy requests
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information. Requests may be submitted to privacy@homeschoolgather.com. We support documented methods to request access, correction, deletion, and opt-out where legally applicable.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
